be an interesting week ahead. president obama is in henderson nevada where he's practicing for the next couple of days. both the president and mitt romney's camps are trying to lower expectations so that if someone does particularly well, it will be an apparent surprise. we heard over the weekend that mitt romney is working on some hard-hitting one-liners because he has that well-timed sense of humor thing. here's the president in response to that news. >> i know folks in the media are speculating already on who's going to have the best zingers. governor romney is a good debater. >> not so sure if he's a good zinger. the presidential last debate was back in 2008. he and mitt romney have never gone head to head. romney does need a win to make this a game changer. the match-up will be wednesday night in denver and of course, we know that you'll be tuned in right here to current tv tv for all of our pre and post-debate coverage. 83% of respondents to a new abc news poll said they're interested in the debates as well. so yo

like this one. president obama going up to new york for the united nations but yesterday he sat down with the women on the view but held zero one on one meetings with foreign dignitaries. was that a case of the right priorities for the president's schedule or was it a big mistake? we all tackle that and a whole lot more here on the full court press. first, let's start out with the current news update from lisa ferguson out in los angeles. hi lisa. good morning. >> hey bill, good morning everyone. mitt romney joins paul ryan on a bus tour through ohio as part of an effort to refocus his campaign message. ryan kicked off a three-day tour with an event in lima and they'll campaign together in central ohio. romney wraps it up tuesday with an event in cleveland. ohio is perhaps the most critical swing state with 18 electoral votes. romney losing ohio would mean he has no shot at the white house. that does follow suit with history. no republican candidate has ever become president without carrying ohio. recent poll

're looking for a little more intention from president obama, you know what you have to do, beat ohio. he's got campaign events in bowling green state university and kent state university today marking his 29th visit to ohio since taking office. if you exclude the d.c. suburbs of virginia and maryland, it is more than any other state besides new york where the president likes to go to fund raise and considerably more than any other swing state. according to "the washington post," either the president or vice president biden pops up in ohio every three weeks and usually with good financial news for the state. in march ohio got a federal grant for new manufacturing center, it was the first awarded and the administration awarded ohio about $125 million in tax credits to promote clean energy. officials say sometimes good policies also end up being good politics. mitt romney also in ohio wrapping up the three-day romney/ryan bus tour there. while "the new york times" reports that the two plan to campaign more together and they
